Walking by faith, and not by sight
Illness, poverty, the righteous suffering, family struggles, corrupt governments, and so on and so on. This scripture truth is one of the most, if not the most, difficult one to practice, when consciously renewing our mind. Why? Because we 'see' so many injustices in the world, and most of the people we interact with on a day-to-day basis, are living in unconscious awareness (living by their 'old man/false self' nature). When the 'old man/false' self' (as scripture says) sends thoughts and feelings of despair, doubt, or hopelessness our way, scripture tells us we're to g-e-n-t-l-y confront them by replying with the Truth: 'for we walk by faith and not by sight'. Faith in God's divine providence and sovereignty for us. We can ask the 'helper', the Holy Spirit within us, to help us in applying this Truth. It will get easier with practice and time, and the effort is so worth it.
