Come to me all who are weary and burdened

Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

There are many different commentaries on this particular scripture passage. However, as an organization who meets many weary and burdened brothers and sisters, we have our own opinion as to its meaning.  We believe that what Jesus is implying here, is that we need to make a conscious effort to 'hold our thoughts captive' (2Corinthians10:5). To  assess them for truthfulness, by 'COMING' to the Word, and g-e-n-t-l-y confronting those that are not, with the Word (TRUTH). Since scripture says it's the Truth that sets one free, practicing this command, gradually brings rest to one's soul, which gradually brings restoration / healing to one's body as well.
