Calcium supplements and heart disease

Calcium supplements and heart disease.

A Christian Healing Blog volunteer recently shared a story about a woman who had to have heart and artery 'roto-rooter' surgery. For several years, the woman took antacids as a calcium supplement, which her physicians said caused excess calcium build-up in her heart and arteries. Upon further research, CHB volunteers discovered actual research studies, showing that calcium supplementation does increase one's risk for developing heart disease. Therefore, we thought it might be good to share this important information with our readers. To review the complete journal article, click here.
